Some changes in the household

This year, Mike and I are making some changes.  This is a joint effort, although we'll see just how well it works.

One of the changes that I am making myself is to keep the house cleaner.  I had to rearrange some things, but just moving my sewing table made a huge difference in the living room.  Now, to declutter some.

Another change that we are making is in our finances.  We are trying desperately to cut back on our expenses.  Today, the first payday of the year, I decided that I am going to pay cash for as much as possible instead of using our debit cards.  I also went to the "cheap" grocery store.  This is going to take some getting used to!

I'll have to keep up on this here to help me as an accountability tool.
